Jonathan Franklin Holt, 41
Jonathan was born September 21, 1983 in Okeechobee, Florida. He passed away from this life January 8, 2025. He was 41 years old. He was known and loved by so many. Jonathan was special right from the start. He was the firstborn child and grandchild in his family, and he was doted on accordingly. As he grew into a young man, Jon became a staple in the community. As District Manager of the Sprint store for several years, he was the face of new technology for many of the residents of Okeechobee. At times, he was involved with the Chamber of Commerce and was also an Okeechobee Main Street board member. In his personal life, for the many who knew him, Jon was a loving son, grandson, brother, cousin, uncle, partner and best friend.
He is preceded in death by his MawMaw, Doris Woodham; PawPaw, Frank Woodham; and, uncle, Eddie Woodham.
He is survived by his loving Momma, Francine Woodham Keezer; Dad, Steve Keezer; brothers, Bo Keezer (Leo Yu) of Orlando, Carl Murphy (Cassie) of Ocala, Trevor Keezer (Shannon) of Vero Beach, Christopher Holt (Jessie) of Umatilla, Tylor Rhodes (Courtney) and Brady Rhodes (Mariah); sisters, Melissa Chambers, Jessica Schooley (Troy), and Samantha Holt; nephews, Bradley Chambers, Brody Robbins, Zachary Murphy, Zeke Murphy, Tyde Schooley, Jet Schooley, Sebastian Chambers, Lincoln Chambers, Samuel Holt, Alice Holt, and Lilith Holt; fur baby, Hazel; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, God children, and lifelong friends. He will be dearly missed, but we are confident we will see him again.
A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Friday, January 17, 2025 at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home.
