Clinton-Jonathan R. Kane, 41, died unexpectedly at his home in Manchester, New Hampshire, on December 31, 2024. He is survived by his mother, Debra Evans; sisters, Keri Mitton Baker, Tammy Mitton-Phillips & husband Mark Phillips, and Stacia Mitton; generations of nieces and nephews, Haley, Caitlyn, Courtney, and Jessica Baker, Alec and Olivia Phillips, Dominique and Emmett Cunningham, Victoria Manning, Avianna MacBain; Kyrie, Kaydence, and Alexander; aunts, uncles, extended family, and many dear friends, notably Jason, Jong, and Kevin. He is pre-deceased by his father, Richard A. Kane, and his grandparents, Bob and Donna Purchase, and Clarence Evans & Rosemary Bouchard.
Jonathan was raised and educated in Clinton, where he was actively involved in youth sports and activities. He attended Nashoba Regional High School and achieved his Associate degree in Psychology from Nashua Community College, Bachelor's degree in Homeland Security from UNH Manchester, and Master's degree in Accounting from UMass Amherst.
Sergeant Kane proudly served our nation in the US Army and was honorably discharged with numerous commendations for meritorious service, notably as a combat veteran of the Korengal Valley in Afghanistan, and for his contributions in the Persian Gulf and Global War on Terrorism. Jonathan returned home safely and dedicated himself to his pursuit of further education in psychology and was working towards a career of helping fellow disabled veterans and combating cyber security. Among his many life passions, Jonathan loved music, was an accomplished guitar player, voracious reader, and great cook. Above all, he was a proud patriot, loving son, brother, uncle, and friend.

The life of the party wherever he was. Always happy and always smiling. He was a little much at times, but by God, he could always brighten the day. Rest easy, brother. -- Doc Young
