Lancaster – Thomas A. Gorham, 73, passed away at his residence on Friday, August 29, 2025. He is lovingly remembered by his two sons and family, Nicholas and Emily, and Matthew with his wife Deann, along with his three cherished grandchildren, Vida, Trent, and Miles. He was predeceased by his older brother, Kenneth. He is survived by his three sisters, Linda, Dolly, and Karen, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Thomas was born in Clinton and raised in Lancaster, the son of Charles and Margaret (Hawley) Gorham. He attended local schools and graduated from Nashoba Regional High School in 1969. Thomas then attended the New England School of Accounting in Worcester before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force, where he proudly served as a Fuels Specialist during the Vietnam War.

After his service, Thomas worked for many years as a printer at The Colonial Press in Lancaster. Following the closure of The Colonial Press, he relocated to Vermont to continue his career in printing. He later moved to Schenectady, New York, and worked as a truck driver, traveling all over the country. Eventually, he returned to Leominster, Massachusetts, and worked at Rafferty Aluminum & Steel Co. until his retirement, after which he moved back to his hometown of Lancaster. Throughout his journey, Thomas formed bonds with many dear friends and neighbors. He had a passion for cars, animals, sports, movies, and music, especially Elvis, and was an avid Raiders fan since childhood. Thomas also had a great sense of humor and took great pleasure in giving gifts. He will always be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and genuine concern for others. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Eastwood Cemetery, Old Common Rd., Lancaster, under the direction of the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St, Clinton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Massachusetts Military Support Foundation or Second Chance Animal Services. Online condolences may be placed at www.philbincomeaufh.com
