It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jonathan Howard LeDoux, fondly known as "Johnny," who left us on November 18, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on April 29, 1963, in Welsh, Louisiana, Johnny was the kind of person who brightened every room he entered. He was not just a father, grandfather, and mentor-he was a true friend to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Johnny had a gift for making people smile. Whether it was during family cookouts, fishing trips, or parties, he was the life of the party, always full of stories and laughter. If you ever met him, you wouldn't forget him; it was just impossible not to love his infectious spirit. He had a unique way of connecting with people-his laughter and charm left a lasting impression, ensuring everyone left with a smile.
A proud worker in the pipeline oilfield industry, Johnny dedicated his life to his job as a superintendent at Benton Equipment. He was incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, earning the respect and admiration of everyone he worked with. He was one of the hardest workers you'd ever meet, often going above and beyond to help others.
Johnny is survived by his beloved family: his brothers Wayne (Becky), Joe (Suzone), and Justin (Taylor); his children Larry (Desiree), Makayla Pilkerton, Alexa, and Michael; and his cherished grandchildren, Hazel, Mya, Gracelynn, and Emir. His absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew him, but the memories he created with his family and friends will live on forever in our hearts.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 11 a.m. in Johnson Funeral of Iowa, we invite family and friends to gather to celebrate Johnny's incredible life. Burial will follow in Grand Lake Cemetery. We invite all who knew him to join us as we honor the man who brought so much joy and laughter into our lives, visitation will begin on Friday, November 21, 2025 in the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m.
