Johnson Funeral Home - Moss BluffEdward "Eddie" Lee LeDoux, Jr., 48, passed away on Wednesday, March 11th, 2026 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Eddie was born on July 2, 1977 in Sulphur to Ed Sr. and Janelle. He was a 1996 graduate of Sulphur High School.
A natural salesman, he worked in Industrial Sales, most recently at Regal Rexnord and at Grainger for 14 years prior. Eddie was a hard worker all his life and still kept in contact with many former co-workers from L’auberge, Mazen’s, Isle of Capri and Casa Ole, among others.
He was passionate about LSU football, cooking, history, gardening and finding out how things worked. If anything was broken, he had a talent for taking it completely apart and repairing, it. Eddie was the best storyteller and could find a way to make anyone laugh. The life of the party, he loved passing a good time with friends, who were too many to count. He and his wife were longtime members of the Krewe of Chaos. Above all he loved Jesus and was heavily involved with Saint Theodore Catholic Church, where he served on the Be A Man Ministry and with the youth.
The light of Eddie’s life was his three daughters. He was the best girl dad and could tell you all of the Disney Princesses. Eddie loved being involved with his daughters’ activities and he helped coach softball for several years.
Left to carry on his memory are his loving wife Leslie (Barzare) of Moss Bluff, daughters, Kate, Haylee and Sadie, mother, Janelle LeDoux (Chaisson) of Sulphur, sister, Miranda LeDoux of Sulphur and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Lee LeDoux, Sr.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tiger O'Quain, Chris O'Quain, Jeff O'Quain, Casey Lafargue, Troy Fountain and John Chalmers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Roy Chaisson, Josh Chaisson and Derek Chaisson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th at Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff from 5pm-9pm. A rosary will be recited at 6:30pm. Visitation will continue Saturday, March 14th from 8:30 am until time of service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on March 14th at 10am at Saint Theodore Catholic Church. Following the mass, the Rite of Committal will take place at Big Woods Cemetery.
Eddie’s last gift on this earth was the gift of life. He was able to save lives by donating his organs.
