Jonathan "Jon-Jon" Lloyd Jones, age 39, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville. He was born April 2, 1983, in Jacksonville, Florida to Lloyd and Corene Jones and had lived in Georgia most of his life. Jonathan loved playing monopoly, gaming, and spending time with his family and friends. He is a member of the Glennville Methodist Church and is preceded in death by his niece, Clarissa Jolie "CJ" Vejnar.
He is survived by his daughter, Hailee Jones of Norfolk, NY; his parents, Lloyd and Corene Jones of Glennville; his sisters and brothers in law, Diana and Pete Sterling of Suwanee, GA, Lyn Allebach of Jacksonville, FL, and Jennie and Jarad Huffman; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 19, 2022, beginning at 3:00pm from the Glennville Methodist Church with the funeral services to follow at 4:00pm with Reverend David Donnan officiating. Interment will follow in the Glennville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jason Whitlow, David Smith, Bill Whitlow, Timothy Bland, Daniel Smith and TJ Quarles.
Memorials may be given to the Glennville Methodist Church, 116 South Caswell Street, Glennville, GA 30427.
Glennville Funeral Home is serving the Jones family.
