Jonathan se graduó de la preparatoria Elgin en la generación de 2021. Posteriormente, trabajó como técnico dedicado en IW Technologies. Su mayor orgullo en la vida fue ser padre de su amado hijo, Mateo Moreno. El día del nacimiento de Mateo fue uno de los más felices de la vida de Jonathan, un padre dedicado y protector que ponía todo su corazón en cada momento que compartían.
Jonathan tenía un espíritu alegre y jovial, conocido por sus bromas y su pasión por hacer sonreír a la gente. Compartía un vínculo estrecho y cariñoso con sus padres, hermanos y su hijo, creando un hogar lleno de risas y calidez.
Encontraba alegría en los placeres sencillos: pasear en coche por la ciudad con la música a todo volumen, cantar sus canciones favoritas y pasar horas jugando videojuegos con sus hermanos. Los viajes a México con su familia le traían una gran felicidad, y su fiel perra Canela era una compañera inseparable a la que adoraba.
La vida de Jonathan fue una luz brillante para todos los que lo conocieron. Su amor, su alegría y su espíritu vivirán en los corazones de su familia y amigos.
A Jonathan le sobreviven su hijo, Mateo Moreno; sus padres, Adalberto Moreno y María Calderón; y sus hermanos, Ángel Moreno y Julián Moreno.
El velatorio se realizará de 17:00 a 21:00 h el viernes 26 de septiembre de 2025 y de 9:30 a 10:00 h el sábado 27 de septiembre de 2025 en la Funeraria Symonds-Madison, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.
Para acceder al velatorio del viernes por la noche de forma remota, se recomienda a los seres queridos conectarse a través de Zoom (ID de la reunión: 864 1593 7325, Contraseña: 873705).
La misa será a las 10:30 h el sábado 27 de septiembre de 2025 en la Iglesia de Santa María de Elgin, 400 Fulton Street, Elgin, IL 60120.
El entierro se realizará posteriormente en el Cementerio Este del Municipio de Dundee, 420 Dundee Avenue, East Dundee, IL 60118.

Jonathan Moreno, age 22, of Elgin, IL, passed away on September 17, 2025. He was born November 27, 2002 in Elgin, IL to his loving parents, Adalberto Moreno and Maria Calderon.
Jonathan graduated from Elgin High School, Class of 2021. He went on to work as a dedicated technician at IW Technologies. His proudest role in life was being a father to his beloved son, Mateo Moreno. The day Mateo was born was one of the happiest of Jonathan's life, and he was a devoted and protective father who poured his heart into every moment they shared.
Jonathan had a cheerful and joyful spirit, known for his playful jokes and the way he loved to make people smile. He shared a close and loving bond with his parents, brothers, and his son, creating a home filled with laughter and warmth.
He found joy in simple pleasures-driving around town with music playing loud, singing along to his favorite songs, and spending hours playing video games with his brothers. Trips to Mexico with his family brought him great happiness, and his loyal dog Canela was a constant companion he adored.
Jonathan's life was a bright light to all who knew him. His love, laughter, and spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Jonathan is survived by his son, Mateo Moreno; parents, Adalberto Moreno and Maria Calderon; and brothers, Angel Moreno and Julian Moreno.
Visitation will be 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Friday, September 26, 2025, and 9:30am to 10:00am, Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.
To access the Friday evening visitation remotely, loved ones are encouraged to log on via Zoom (Meeting ID: 864 1593 7325, Password: 873705).
Mass will be at 10:30am, Saturday, September 27, 2025 at St. Mary Church of Elgin, 400 Fulton Street, Elgin, IL 60120.
Interment to follow at Dundee Township East Cemetery, 420 Dundee Avenue, East Dundee, IL 60118.
