Miami, FL / Southbridge: With heavy hearts and great sadness, the family of Jonathan Evan Santa shares the news of his passing on October 26, 2025, at the age of 36.

Jonathan was the devoted father of Jaiden Santa of Miami; the loving husband of Nicla Paciotti of Miami; the beloved son of Carlos Santa of Southbridge and the late Leslie Fields; a loving brother to Isabella Rose Santa, Nathan Fields, Natasha Fields, and Anthony Fields; the treasured grandson of Cecile and Gerard Despres, and first grandson of Narciso Santa and the late Aida Santa of Southbridge with whom he shared a very special bond. Jonathan was the loving nephew of Lucy Santa, David Santa, Jorge Santa, Sandy Santa, Gary Fields, Kim Fields, and Dan Boyle. He is remembered with deep affection by many cousins, and lifelong friends who will forever carry his spirit with them. He is also reunited in peace with his cousin Jaime Ortiz, whose memory he carried close to his heart.

Born on September 15, 1989, Jonathan lived his life with passion, humor, and a generous spirit. From a young age, he showed natural athletic talent and a love for sports. In high school, he excelled in both football and basketball, where his strength, determination, and team spirit formed bonds that lasted throughout his life.

Those who knew Jonathan will never forget his famous smile - bright, genuine, and unforgettable. It could light up a room, ease a heavy day, and make those around him feel welcomed and loved. It was a reflection of the warmth he carried inside and the love he had for the people around him.

Jonathan's legacy lives on in his son, his family, and in the hearts of all who were touched by his kindness, loyalty, humor, and the unforgettable brightness of his spirit.

His funeral will be held on Friday, Nov. 7th, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 11:00am in St. Mary's Church of the St. John Paul II Parish, 263 Hamilton St., Southbridge. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Thursday, Nov. 6th, from 5:00 to 7:00pm.
