Jonathan Michael Trapp

Jonathan M. Trapp, age 49, of Erie, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022, at his residence. He was born in Williamsport, PA on June 20, 1973, a son of Donald Trapp Sr. and the late Patricia Driscoll Trapp.
Jon graduated from Cathedral Prep in 1991 and went on to work in the restaurant industry. He was former Franchise co-owner of Valerio's Italian Restaurant and most recently the Dietary Supervisor at Twinbrook Nursing home. Jon enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with his children and family.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents and his great nephew, Henry Stertz.
In addition to his father, survivors include his two sons, Brandon and Tyler Trapp, of Erie; his two daughters, Madison Trapp, of McKean and Miranda Trapp, of Meadville; his sister Mary Kearney (Patrick), of Erie; his brothers, Donald Jr. (Sherry), of Erie, and Kevin Trapp (Geraldine), of Warwick, NY, his stepmother, Jennifer Trapp; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at St. Boniface Church on Saturday, September 24th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial Mass there at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. of Olives Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, PA 16504.
