Jonathan Lee Trulock, 45, of Atlanta, formerly of Climax, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Climax Methodist Church with Rev. Lynn Hurley officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Eugene Quinn, Billy Hutto, and Keith Harrison serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.bryantfuneralga.com. Memorial donations may be made to Lifeline Ministries, 525 West Street, Bainbridge, GA 39819. Jonathan Lee Trulock was born March 28, 1980, in Tallahassee, FL, the son of Eugene & Cindy Linehan Trulock. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and Southern Poly Tech. Jonathan worked as an electrical engineer for Georgia Pacific. He was a member of Climax Methodist Church and active in the Masonic Lodge. Home was always rural South Georgia. Jonathan traveled with his e-bike and loved nothing more than wheeling down the dirt roads taking in the familiar sights and sounds from his childhood. Jonathan was a talented musician, writing and recording music straight from the heart. Survivors include his parents; his brother, Glenn Trulock (Cheryl); his nieces, Grace & Cailyn; his aunt, Kathy Jaffe; and his cousins, Abbey Jaffe (Nate), Noah Jaffe (Amy), and Hanna Beth Jaffe.
