Scott A. Trulock, 63, of Taylorville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 9, 1961, in Taylorville, to Pat and Gary Trulock.
Scott graduated from Taylorville High School in 1979. He went on to continue his education at Western Illinois College and later married Terri Neisler on April 22, 1994. He loved farming and farmed all his life.
Surviving Scott is his wife: Terri Trulock; children: Seth (Bella) Trulock of Mississippi; Luke Trulock of Taylorville; Renee (Steve) Grieme of Taylorville; Kayla (Bobby) Inglese of Downer Grove; grandchildren: Maxx Grieme; Jaxxen Grieme; and Elli Raine Trulock; siblings: Kristi (Scott) Bandy; Rick (Cheryl) Trulock; Todd (Erma) Trulock; as well as his best friend, his dog, Ivy May "Roo".
Preceding Scott in death is his parents: Pat and Gary Trulock; grandparents: Ethel and Ivan Trulock and Henry and Gertrude Reiner.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. A memorial service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Don Beetem officiating. Inurnment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorials in Scott's honor may be made to either the Shriners Children's Hospital, to Red Bland Baseball, or to the American Cancer Society.
