Jonathan Ray Jaggers, age 73, of the Portland area of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on September 18, 2025. He was born on April 25, 1952, in Louisville to the late Virgil Jaggers and Grace Arnold Jaggers.

Jonathan worked for many years as a dedicated delivery driver. Known for his love of yard sales and his gift for wheeling and dealing, he had a knack for finding treasures and making connections wherever he went. He was a devoted father who lived for his children.

He enjoyed watching old Westerns and anything related to World War II. He was a longtime fan of Jeopardy! and rarely missed an episode until Alex Trebek's passing. He also had a deep appreciation for classic cars-especially Chevys-and at one point proudly owned a 1956 model.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Elnora Jaggers; his beloved grandson, Mark Lee Jaggers Jr., "Fat Man"; and his brothers, Virgil and Rick Jaggers.

He is survived by his children: John Jaggers, Mark Jaggers (Casey), Marlene Jaggers (Bill), and Candy Jaggers (Russell); his grandchildren: Skyler Jaggers, Breiona Jaggers, Gaige Jaggers, Hayden Jaggers, Trenton Jaggers, William Malone IV, Steven Malone, Joey Thompson, and Severa Kidwell; and his great-grandchildren: Lila Renee King, Mark Lee Jaggers III, and Amelia Mae Jaggers.

He is also survived by his sisters, Ruth Mason and Linda Jaggers; his brothers, Mike Jaggers, Bill Jaggers, and Terry Jaggers; and his loyal pitbull companion, Wicked.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m., and again on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at Legacy Schoppenhorst Chapel Funeral Home, located at 1832 West Market Street, Louisville, KY 40203. The funeral service will take place on Friday at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow at St. Stephen's Cemetery.

Jonathan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
