Jonathon Robert Rouse

Jonathon Robert Rouse, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 46. Jon touched the lives of many through his kindness, humor, and adventurous spirit.

Jon is predeceased by his father, Carl Rouse, and his cherished grandparents, Ray and Sally Storm and Bob and Betty Rouse. He is survived by his devoted mother, Naomi Storm-Weyant; his sister, Sara-Rae Manning; his treasured niece, Stella, and nephew, Duncan; and his brother, Carl Rouse Jr. Additionally, Jon leaves behind his four beloved cats, and his best friend, Joe Donnelly, along with a large extended family and a multitude of friends who will forever remember him.

A proud member of the United States Marine Corps, Jon served his country with honor and dedication. Following his military service, he continued to embody the values of service and commitment as a member of the National Guard. His time in the Marines shaped him into a compassionate leader, always willing to lend a hand to those in need.

Outside of his commitments, Jon was a passionate Dungeons and Dragons enthusiast, immersing himself in the fantastical worlds built around the table with friends. He was known for his infectious laughter and a youthful spirit that drew people to him. Jon's love of Legos and all things imaginative reflected the "big kid at heart" that he truly was. Jon also had a big heart of gold for people he truly loved.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday December 18, 2025 3:00pm at DeMunn Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 36 Conklin Avenue Binghamton, New York 13903, where family and friends will gather to share stories and relive the moments that defined his vibrant spirit. Visiting hours will be from 1:00pm until time of service.

Jon made an impact on all who were fortunate to cross his path. His legacy of love, laughter, and relentless adventure in life will echo in our hearts forever.
