Jonell White Obituary
Born February 16, 1936, in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Fred Otto Summers and Bertha Mae Brazel Summers. Jonell was a graduate of Greenwood High School and was formerly employed with Nantex and Skateaway USA. She later retired at the age of 72 from Chick-fil-A of Greenwood, having worked at both the Greenwood Mall and Highway 72 locations.
She was a member of Rice Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving is her son, Grover "Cleve" White III (Phyllis) of Brooksville, Florida; three grandsons, Cleveland Brae White (Krissy), Grover Brandon White (Shauna), and Brent Theo (Stephanie); seven great-grandchildren, Braden, Cohen, Kaidance and Kinsley White; and Bristol, Baylee, and Brianne Theo; and a sister-in-law, Gloria Summers.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Harold Summers.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Greenwood Humane Society.
