Jordan Lee Dunn, age 36, passed away peacefully in his home on January 2nd, 2026. He was born on September 10, 1989, in La Jara, Colorado, to Jimmy and Teri Dunn. Welcomed by a loving family, he was the 7th of 8 children. He was raised in Manassa, Colorado..

Jordan graduated from Centauri High School in 2011. He was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and his special talent for making absolutely legendary messes. He loved Mountain Dew, junk food, and anything sweet. Jordan loved pancakes so much that he would take his mom the mixing bowl-until she finally had to tell him no more pancakes.

Jordan's sense of humor was often displayed through a sometimes-gentle swat, a light kick, or by throwing a toy that was often drenched in drool, always keeping those around him smiling with his childlike laughter. He loved to tease and often got the better of his brothers-in-law by his endless tormenting.

Jordan carried a light that left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Though he could not speak with words, his smile spoke volumes of the love he held for those around him. His eyes sparkled with expression-so full of meaning that those who truly knew him understood exactly what he was saying.

Family was central to Jordan's life. He deeply loved his siblings and begrudgingly tolerated his nieces and nephews. He absolutely adored his mom and dad, and the level of care he received from them over his 36 years was a true example of unconditional love.

Jordan's happiness was never dependent on his circumstances. In the final months of his life, he was unable to enjoy his usual mobility and many of the activities that once brought him great joy. Yet, despite these limitations, he continued to radiate joy and bring happiness to his family.

Jordan is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Teri Dunn; his sisters, Christi (Luke) Meeks, Alisha (Clint) Sowards, Amanda (Tyler) Christensen, Ashley (the late Donald) Jarvies, and Brianna (Shad) Crowther; and his brothers, Brandon (Kristy) Dunn and Tyson Dunn.

A viewing will be held on Monday, January 5th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Manassa Stake Center. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 6th, at 11:00 a.m., also at the Manassa Stake Center. Following the funeral, he will be laid to final rest in the Manassa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Angelman Foundation at angelman.org

Jordan's life was a gift, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love that will be treasured always.
