Jordan Timothy VanAusdal was born 25 Nov 1997 as Jordan Michael Hurt, and adopted by his parents, Ronald Timothy and Christine Jamie VanAusdal when he was nine.
Sadly he passed away in a tragic accident 14 Aug 2023 leaving a hole that will never be filled.
He was a beloved son who lit the room with his amazing smile and huge personality. He brought joy and pride to his parents and his surviving siblings Hunter, Richard, Christopher, Sara, and Emelie.
He has joined his Grandfathers Ronald VanAusdal, David Drake, Richard Mills, Grandmother Barbra Drake as well as his HS best friend Keith Savage. His other two Grandmothers Judy VanAusdal and Jamie Mills will miss him dearly.
Jordan loved the theater and felt most at home when he was entertaining and on stage. He loved football and hanging with friends or family no matter what they were doing.
He graduated from Cheney HS in 2017 and went on to be a CNA, becoming a favorite caretaker to the elderly residents in his care facility. He was also an amazing helper to his parents as they built their dream home. His pride and joy was how he learned to do roofing on their dome home and impressing all...especially when he learned it was one of the hardest roofs done in the Spokane area.
Jordan was generous with his smile and a word of encouragement. He was often found in the center of anything fun and nobody was left out when he was around. His enthusiasm for life was contagious and you couldn't help but feel true love and acceptance from him.
The family would like to invite all who want to celebrate Jordan (JT) to join them on Sat 2 Sep 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2536 N 6th St, Cheney, WA 99004 from 2-4:20 pm.
For anyone wanting to send condolences, there is a GoFundMe or you can send to our home at 122 Walker Dr., Cheney, WA 99004. Or please plant a tree, bush, or flowers in his name....he LOVED plants
