Jordes Annette (Branham) Dudley age 91, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on March 16th, 2024. She was born on September 26th, 1932 in Laona, Wisconsin. Jordes married Loyal (Tiny) Ray Dudley on June 24th, 1950 and they were married for 70 years. Together, they raised 5 children: Helen (Gary) Rettmann of Stewart, Minnesota; Jack (Annie Henricksen-French) Dudley of Hazelhurst, Wisconsin; Craig (Janice) Dudley of Juneau, Alaska and Cape Coral, Florida; Lisa (James Messinieo) Dudley of San Miguel, California; and Tricia (Rich) Trottier of Minocqua, Wisconsin. Early in her marriage to Tiny she worked cleaning cabins at a local resort and then she kept the books for Jack Branham Bulldozing until Grampa Jack retired. She was exceptionally close to her mother Lydabelle and it wouldn't take much for them to jump in the car to go for lunch or shop, always coming home with some new treasure or funny story. Jack, Lydabelle, Jordes and Tiny traveled together out west to see Jack’s brother and family in Utah and would go to Branson, Missouri just for fun. They also traveled up to Alaska to spend time with the Alaska Dudleys, grandkids and fish or hunt. Jordes was quick to smile with a child-like exuberance and loved a good joke. Jordes laughed at herself and enjoyed the attention from the teasing and jokes lovingly made at her expense. Though she tended to have episodes of anxiety, she watched every horror film she could find. Sometimes wondering why she couldn’t sleep after a few hours of terror. Jordes also was an avid sports fan watching wrestling and her beloved Packers. She is proceeded in death by Tiny Dudley (husband) whom she loved and adored, Lydabelle Branham (mother) her traveling buddy, Hiram Jack Branham (father), and James Branham (brother). Jordes is survived by her 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren who lovingly called her Gramma Boom Boom due to her tendency to fall. She always bounced right back up until her later years when Loyal (Tiny) was true to his name, stayed by her side taking care of her every day until he passed from Covid on January 4th , 2021. She loved spending time visiting with family, particularly with her great- grandchildren who always brought that child-like smile to her face which lit up the room. Rest in peace.
Memorial Service for Jordes and Loyal will be held on Saturday, June 22nd at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 noon with a visitation from 11:00 am till time of service.
