WORCESTER: Jorge J. Martell, 88, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026, after an illness.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angela L. Rodriguez; sons, Jorge Martell and Ficherad Martell; daughters, Debbie Martell, Ivelisse Martell, Arlene Martell; a brother, Miguel Martell; his sisters, Eugenia, Edith, Sara, Blanca, Guillermina, Antonia, and Maggie; 9 grand children and 7 great grandchildren.
Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, son of the late Carmelo Martell & Agripina Rodriguez. Jorge was a master carpenter. He enjoyed aviation, carpentry, engineering, travelling, charity work, and helping at the local soup kitchen.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10AM on Friday, February 20th, in the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held from 5 until 7PM on Thursday, February 19th, in the funeral home.
