Jose Alberto Arevalos

Jose Alberto Arevalos, 26, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Jose was born on April 16, 1999, to Loreline Sem and Jose Alberto Arevalos Sr. in Fargo, North Dakota. Jose came to live with Joe and Sandy Smaker in May of 2016 and graduated from White Bear Lake in 2017. Jose was preceded in death by his grandmother Bonita Becktold. He is survived by his six brothers Tevin Hanks, Ben Knutson, Tre Hanks, Chantay Lacroix, Cetan Lacroix, and Wambdi Lacroix; uncle Bruce Nordby; his beloved dog Hulda, and many other relatives and dear friends. Services to honor Jose will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025 at HONSA FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2460 East County Road E, White Bear Lake. Visitations will be Friday, December 5, 2025 from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. and one hour before service on Saturday. Jose had a very big heart, a great sense of humor and a gift for the spoken word. He was a passionate, articulate, intelligent young man who will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
