Jose Antonio Bañuelos, affectionately known as Joe to his friends and family, passed away on September 23, 2025, in his hometown of El Paso, Texas, at the age of 63. Born on September 8, 1962, to Joe and Ramona Jeddery, he was a lifelong resident of El Paso, where he was known for his courageous spirit, passionate heart, and loving nature.

Joe was a proud graduate of Bel Air High School, class of '81, where he formed many lifelong friendships and left behind fond memories. His work ethic was evident to all who knew him as he dedicated many years of service as a forklift operator, a role in which he took great pride and performed with diligence and reliability.

A devout Catholic, Joe's faith was a cornerstone of his life. He lived his beliefs through his actions, showing kindness and compassion to those around him. His moral compass and generous spirit were an inspiration to many, and his presence brought warmth to any gathering.

Joe's love for the Dallas Cowboys was legendary; every Sunday was dedicated to cheering on his favorite team, through victories and defeats alike. His loyalty to the team was matched only by his devotion to his family and friends, with whom he cherished spending time. Whether it was a backyard barbecue, a family celebration, or a simple chat over a cup of coffee, Joe's company was a source of joy and comfort.

He is lovingly remembered by his family, including his parents, Joe and Ramona Jeddery, his brother Rudy Sanchez and his sister Maria Alicia Bañuelos, who he has preceded in death and his surviving siblings, Albert and Raymond Bañuelos, Charles Jeddery, Rosa Maria Rojas, and Patricia Segovia. Joe's legacy will also live on through his adored nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins who will carry forward the lessons of love and courage he instilled in them.

Joe's absence will be deeply felt by all who had the honor of knowing him. He lived a life full of passion, love, and courage, touching the hearts of those he met with his infectious smile and generous nature. As we say goodbye to a man who was a brother, uncle, and friend, we take comfort in the knowledge that his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. His memory will be cherished and kept alive in the stories we share and the love we hold for him in our hearts.

Rest in peace, Joe. Your journey on earth has ended, but your story lives on in the lives you've touched. You will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.

My Condolences to the family I grew up with Joe playing touch football on Cuba Street and throwing dirt clouds at the city buses..Lol. I continued to run into Joe when he worked at Cummins and Me at Fed Ex Freight. Joe is a good man, and always in a jovial mood. I had recently lost track of him and was shocked to here of his passing. Luciano "Chano" McBain
