Beloved husband of Prescilla E. Gallardo. Loving father of Joseph Carl G. (Laura) Benavidez. Dearest grandfather of Joseph Zachary, Annalise Faith, and the late Baby B. Fond brother of Salvador Benavidez, Antonio (Cherry) Benavidez Sr., Virginia (Nestor) Sanchez and the late Romeo (Loraine) Benavidez and the late Dr. Norma L. Benavidez.
Survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
Jose was a long-time parishioner at St. Edward Church and the Philippine Engineering and Science Organization.
After retirement Jose's life centered on his family. He spent most of his week with his grandchildren. He shared with the children, his love of music, gardening, and taking care of others. Jose was a very generous man and loved to take care of people.
