José Luis Bernabé, de 79 años, de Houston, Texas, falleció el 21 de julio de 2024, rodeado de su
amada familia. Nació el 22 de junio de 1945 en Michoacán, México, hijo de José Bernabé y Luz
Martínez.
José dedicó su vida a diversas profesiones, entre ellas la carpintería, la panadería, la fontanería y,
sobre todo, la soldadura. Era un hombre de fe que encontraba alegría en muchas actividades. Le
encantaba la soldadura y la carpintería, y disfrutaba mucho cocinando para su familia,
especialmente pescado y fajitas a la parrilla. Su pasión por la repostería era evidente en los
deliciosos panes dulces que elaboraba, como las conchas y las empanadas.
La casa de José siempre estaba llena de música, que le gustaba escuchar a alto volumen.
Apreciaba una variedad de géneros, como rancheras, cumbias y mariachi, con artistas favoritos
como La Sonora Santanera y Pedro Infante. A menudo se refería a sí mismo como un "todoista",
un testimonio de sus versátiles habilidades e intereses.

Jose Luis Bernabe, age 79, of Houston, Texas, passed away on July 21, 2024, surrounded by his
loving family. He was born on June 22, 1945, to parents Jose Bernabe and Luz Martinez in
Michoacan, Mexico.
Jose dedicated his life to various professions, including carpentry, baking bread at a panaderia,
plumbing, and most notably, welding. He was a man of faith who found joy in many activities.
He loved welding and carpentry, and he took great pleasure in cooking for his family, especially
fish/seafood and fajitas on the grill. His passion for baking was evident in the delicious pan dulce
he made, such as conchas and empanadas.
Jose's home was always filled with music, which he enjoyed listening to at high volumes. He
appreciated a variety of genres, including rancheras, cumbias, and mariachi, with favorite artists
like La Sonora Santanera and Pedro Infante. He often referred to himself as a "todoista," a
testament to his versatile skills and interests.
Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Bernabe and Luz Martinez. He is survived by his
loving wife, Martha Chavez; his children, Sandra Guillen and her husband Gerardo, Esmeralda
Bernabe, Luis and his wife Crystal Bernabe, Emmanuel and his wife Abigail Bernabe, Gilberto
and his wife Ashley Bernabe, and Armando and his wife Mayra Bernabe; his siblings, Antonio
Bernabe, Pedro Bernabe, Jose Bernabe, and Raul Bernabe. He is further survived by his
grandchildren, David Guajardo, Jonathan Guajardo, Evelyn Gracia, Eduardo Gracia, Reyna
Gracia, Luis Bernabe Jr., Alma Bernabe, Alexi Bernabe, Angelque Bernabe, Anaya Bernabe, Janie Bernabe, Amaris Bernabe, Camila Bernabe, Aaron Bernabe, Tempest Bernabe, Haylie
Bernabe, Izyk Bernabe, and Aurora Bernabe.
Jose will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. His legacy of hard work, faith, and
love for his family will continue to inspire those who knew him
