Jose Cantu Obituary
He was born on May 1, 1931 in Nuevo Leon Mexico to his parents, Jose and Isabel Cantu, who precede him in death, along with his wife, Maria Concepcion Cantu.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Dr. George Cantu, Roger Cantu, daughters; Gloria Ledesma, Diane Chapa and Elizabeth Hopkins; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Due to the Corona Virus, a private funeral service will be held and burial will follow in the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 W. Hidalgo Ave., Raymondville, Texas.

Mr. Cantu was a true friend. I met him during my High School years. And remain friends until he passed. He and his beautiful wife would give me advise and treated really well and true friends will always be remembered. May he RIP with his true love in heaven.

I've known this man since I was a young boy. He always made me feel important. He always invited me to talk at his restaurant. We had long talks and he taught me a lot. I was there when Mrs. Cantu passed when Roger called me that he wanted to see me. It was a sad moment for both of us but loosing one of my best friends hurts beyond words. Mr. Cantu my family is going to miss you. May you seat next to all your family and friends up in heaven. Good bye for now. Love you always. Saul Cantu and family.
