Jose De La O, 66, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2024. Joe was born on September 21, 1958, in San Antonio del Bravo, Mexico, to Jose de la luz and Ninfa De La O.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mariana De La O and loving daughter Jennifer Escalante and her husband Joseph Escalante, Joe was blessed with nine grandchildren, Destiny Rivera, Taylor Martinez, Asher Martinez, Ryan De La O, Brandon De La O, Izaac De La O, Max De La O, Sebastian De la O, Eric De La O.
He was retired but still enjoyed working at Circle Ranch. Joe was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan who enjoyed watching football on Sundays and grilling his delicious steaks and chicken. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved spending time with his family and grandkids.
Joe will be missed dearly by his beloved family and friends.
A viewing will be held on Thursday November 21st at 9am.to 11am. The Rosary will begin at 11am and mass at 12 noon officiated by Father Serjio Legarreta at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. The burial will follow at the Van Horn Cemetery.
Pallbearers serving are Joseph Escalante, Armando Munoz, Beto Urias, Joel Martinez, Frank Franco, Julian Lopez, and Rual DeLaO.
Funeral arrangements are in care of Heritage Funeral Home of Van Horn, Texas.
