Jose Luis Colon Dueno peacefully passed away September 25 th 2025 in Port

Orange Florida. Jose was a devoted husband, of 36 years to Rhonda and a loving

father to his three children : Anthony, Sabrina, and Gabrielle. He is also survived

by his grandchildren: Kayla, Jason, Devyn, Julianna, Cristina, Marleau, Selena,

Elvis, Arjay and one great granddaughter. Jose was born on October12,1964 in San

Juan Puerto Rico moving to New York then to Massachusetts where he met his

wife in 1987 and married in 1990. They raised their 3 children, ultimately moving

to Florida in 2013. Jose battled kidney failure for over 30 years with no complaint,

and he was a true role model for his family acting as the glue that held them

together. Jose was known for his warm sense of humor.

The love of music, sports, and the Patriots, and his dedication to his family.

Jose truly shined as the comedic relief for the family always delivering the perfect

joke and getting all then laughs he could. He is survived by his wife Rhonda 3

children, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, 2 brothers and a sister from

Massachusetts, several nieces and nephews. Jose was preceded in death by his

parents, Carmen S. Dueno and Efrain Rodriguez. a service will be held at

Woodland cemetery Port Orange, Florida, on Tuesday, September 30 th , 2025, at

pm.
