Jose Luis Erazo Cordero, passed away on Monday, September 30,2024 at 12:05am. Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador on May 18,1943. In 1984 in seeking better economic opportunities for his family, he emigrated to Paterson, NJ., at the age of 41 and called Paterson & surrounding areas his 2nd home for the years to follow. Throughout his life he traveled to visit motherland and family very often.
His life and love will live on through his three children Ronald Jose, Angel Giovani and Viviana Elizabeth and grandson Gilbert Javier. He is further-more survived by his sister Monica Erazo and brother Nelson Erazo, sister and brother in law, as well as his neices,nephews and cousins. He is pre-deceased by his parents Jose Rafael Erazo and Mercedes Erazo l his beloved wife Edith Elizabeth Erazo Rios and daughter in law Aurea Erazo
Jose cherished time with family and friends, frequently staying in touch with loved ones locally and in Ecuador. He enjoyed Ecuadorian folk music,cumbia, salsa, spending time with his children, playing scratch offs, bingo and singing.
He was a bright light,a powerful presence full of love and laugter who will always live on in the hearts of those who loved him and by the countless number of people who he touched during his time. May his soul rest in eternal peace now, always and forever.
