Jose Canuto Escamilla

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jose Canuto Escamilla, who peacefully left us on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the age of 62. Jose was born on September 23, 1962, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Marchela Perez Perales and Jose Canuto Escamilla. Jose was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, whose warmth, love, and joy will forever be remembered by all who knew him. Jose was the beloved husband of Consuelo Garcia, with whom he shared a life full of cherished memories. Jose was the proud and loving father of Ashley Gandarilla, Jo Ann Vallejo, and Jose Escamilla Jr. He was also a cherished brother to Jhonny Escamilla and Patricia. Jose's love for his family knew no bounds, he was also a devoted grandfather to Nathan Perez, Audrina Perez, Julian Escamilla and Maevery Vallejo. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marchela Perez Perales and Jose Canuto Escamilla Rest in peace, Jose. You are forever loved, and your spirit will remain in the hearts of your family and all who were blessed to know you.
