Jose Angel “Joe” Gallardo passed away on June 14th, 2024, at the age of 50. He was born on October 29th, 1973, to loving parents John and Alpedia “Pat” Gallardo.

In his brief time with us, he loved his sports. He was overjoyed to see the Ranges win the World Series and he loved the Dallas Cowboys. Mostly, he loved his sons and his grandchildren. He loved to show pictures of them or talk about them. They were his pride and joy. His other favorite pastime was getting together for family dinners. It had to be on Wednesday’s because he was off the next couple of days, and he could sleep in. He will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by sons Jose “JR” Gallardo and his wife Rebeckah of College Station, Chris Gallardo of McKinney, grandchildren Kairi, Bentley and Evelyn, his sisters Nora Lopez and husband Frank of Princeton, Ann Zapata and husband Juan of Rowlett, brothers Juan Gallardo of Princeton, Ricky Gallardo and wife Elisa of McKinney, Albert Gallardo of Josephine and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Pat Gallardo, grandparents Alejandro and Adela Gallardo and Alberto and Gumecinda Cantu.

A visitation/funeral service will be held on June 20th, 2024, beginning at 11:00 am – 2:00 pm with services promptly beginning at 2:00 p.m.

The family will receive friends and family during the visitation hours.
