In Loving Memory of Jose C. Granados
Jose C. Granados, aged 76, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, Texas. Born on March 19, 1948, in Guanajuato, Mexico, he was the cherished son of the late Juan Granados and Lucia Morales.
Jose was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Helena Granados, and a proud father to his three children: Maria Magdalena (Carlos) Lopez, Lucy Granados, and Carmelo Granados. He leaves behind a legacy of nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom adored and respected him deeply. He also leaves behind his brother, Jesus Granados.
A humble and hardworking man, Jose's personality radiated kindness and sincerity. He dedicated his life to providing for his family and ensuring that those around him were well cared for. He had a tireless spirit and was always active, staying busy helping those in need and lending a hand wherever it was needed. His generosity knew no bounds, and his willingness to support friends and family was truly remarkable.
Jose was also known for his vibrant and sociable nature. He cherished every conversation, every gathering, and every opportunity to share a smile. His ability to connect with people from all walks of life was a testament to his warm and open-hearted soul.
He is reunited in heaven with his beloved son, Jose Carmen Granados Jr., and three siblings who preceded him in death. His loss is felt deeply by all who knew him, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Flores Funeral Home in Mission, Texas. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, at the same location. Following the service, Jose will be laid to rest at Santa Fe Celestial Cemetery in Mission, Texas.
