Jose Antonio Hernandez Gonzalez, de 85 años, residente de Moultrie, falleció el viernes 16 de mayo de 2025 en su hogar, rodeado de su familia.

Nacido el 24 de mayo de 1939 en Holguín, Cuba, era hijo de los fallecidos Jose Hernandez Carballo y Eladia Gonzalez Pino. Trabajó durante muchos años como supervisor de cocina, una profesión que reflejaba su gran pasión por la cocina.
Amaba la jardinería y encontraba alegría en trabajar la tierra y compartir los frutos de su labor con sus seres queridos. Su mayor satisfacción era cocinar en las reuniones familiares, donde su talento y amor estaban presentes en cada platillo.
El Sr. Hernandez Gonzalez fue un esposo devoto para su amada esposa, Delia, a quien amó profundamente. También fue un padre amoroso y orgulloso de su hijo, Jose Antonio Hernandez, y de su hija, Dunia Els Hernandez Abdon, a quienes siempre apoyó y valoró con todo su corazón.
Fue un miembro fiel de los Testigos de Jehová, y su vida fue un reflejo de los valores y la esperanza que compartía a través de su fe.
Le sobreviven su amorosa y dedicada esposa, Delia Abdon Avila; su hijo, Jose Antonio Hernandez; su hija, Dunia Els Hernandez Abdon; sus nietos, Yusniel Hernandez, Yurima Hernandez, Karen Peña y Karel Peña; y sus bisnietos, Karel Hernandez, Shonata Hernandez, Kristal Hernandez, Abisay Reyes, Isabella Rivera, Gisella Rivera y Alex Reyes.
