Jose Carlos Alfonso Limon, of Albuquerque, NM, was born July 27, 1981, in Twenty-Nine Palms, CA. Carlos’ soul was set free on January 22, 2024, at the age of 42. He is survived by his mother, Sarah E. Sanchez, his father, Jose Alfonso Limon, Jr., and his stepmother, Janice, sisters Domonique Limon, Ramona Rose and wife Jennifer, and Breanna Adams and husband Eric, his Goddaughter/Niece and pride and joy, Ydiana, and niece Adeline, his grandparents, Dolores T. Sanchez, Mary and Marvin Tessmer, and his best friend, Marsha Pinkerton-Caswell, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Laura B. Gallegos, Charles E. Sanchez, and Jose Alfonso Limon Sr., Aunt Kathy B. Sanchez, Uncle George E. Sanchez, and Cousins Lorenzo Limon and Eric Hern.

Carlos had a huge heart and a very giving nature with his sarcastic wit. He was known for his sense of humor, and he could always make you laugh. He loved expressing his love for others with memorable gifts and meaningful cards. He will be missed for the great hugs he gave, wrapping you in his arms like a big teddy bear. He had a vast taste in music and loved his R&B. He loved online gaming, specifically World of Warcraft, and building models and Legos. Please join us to say our final goodbyes on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, with a Rosary at 8:15 a.m., followed by a Mass at 9:00 a.m., and a lunch reception in the parish hall at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. Albuquerque, NM 87105.
