Joe is preceded in death by his father Enrique R. Lopez, mother Celia S. Lopez, brothers Henry Lopez, Jr and Robert Lopez, his sons Joshua Gonzalez and Robert Urquidi.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia L. Urquidi and his siblings Irma Lopez, Rosa Lopez, Nellie Ayala, Elvira Gandara and Angie Cano, his children Joseph Lopez, Laurie Lopez, Delilah Lopez and Eric Lopez. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
He was born in Canutillo, TX and graduated from Coronado High School and worked for Western Dairy Transport and Auto Zone. He enjoyed family cookouts, drag racing and muscle cars.
Services will be held on Thursday, May 30th at Perches Funeral Home- West 6111 S Desert Blvd, El Paso, TX 79932 from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm followed by the Graveside Service at Memorial Pines Cemetery 3061 Memorial Pines Lane Sunland Park, NM 88063.
