JOSE ANTONIO LOPEZ ROMAN
DONNA- Jose Antonio Lopez Roman, 82, died Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Esteban Lopez and Josefa Lopez; a granddaughter, Jazzy Contreras, two siblings Luis Lopez and, Delia Rivera.
Mr. Lopez is survived by his wife Myrna Lopez; three children, Damaris Cullerton, Maritza Lopez, Nilda Elaster; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Franklin) Corrales, Cassandra (Shawn) Christian, Joel Contreras, Joshua Contreras; six great-grandchildren, Grayson Corrales, Donaven Corrales, Kelion Corrales, Jackson Christian, Jaden Christian, Jocelynn Contreras; three siblings, Anna (Eddie) Anderson, Raymond Lopez, Elsy Millan.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 2024 at “Para La Gloria De Dios” in Weslaco. Second visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Friday, March 15, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 noon Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
