Jose Angel Madaleno, a beloved father, brother, and son, passed away on August 10, 2025, at his residence in Marathon, Texas. Born on October 3, 1977, in Greely, Colorado, Jose embraced life with an infectious spirit and an unwavering passion for his family and profession.
As an RV technician at Angel's RV's, Jose dedicated his skills to ensuring families could create cherished memories on the road. His commitment to his work mirrored his approach to life—always giving his best while nurturing those around him. He found profound joy in working on RVs and shared countless treasured moments fishing with his children. His love for conversation brought warmth to everyone he encountered, forging connections wherever he went.
Jose is survived by his loving family. He was a devoted father to Carlee and Cayden Madaleno, who will forever carry his warmth and wisdom in their hearts. Also surviving are his stepdaughters, Candace and Camaron Aguilar, who knew him as a nurturing figure in their lives. His mother, Linda Clara Madaleno, and his sisters—Maria Louisa, Oralia, Maryann, Savannah, Linda Letticia, and Angelina—will forever cherish the bond they shared with him. The camaraderie he enjoyed with his siblings and the laughter they shared will be etched in memory.
He will also be remembered by family members Jose Michael Renteria, Jaidia Marea Madaleno, Roe Madaleno, Raymond Madaleno, Aurelio Madaleno, Rogelio Renteria, and Andrea Renteria. Their lives were enriched by Jose’s kindness, humor, and the love he freely offered.
Jose was preceded in death by his father, Jose Aurelio Marquez, and his sister, Beatrice Rodriguez Madaleno. Their absence is felt deeply among loved ones, and Jose’s memory will honor their lives as well.
A visitation in celebration of Jose's life will be held at the Alpine Memorial Funeral Home Chapel located at 209 W. Sul Ross Avenue in Alpine, Texas, on August 22, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a prayer service at 12:30 PM and a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
Jose Angel Madaleno leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and the importance of family. He touched many lives during his journey, and those who knew him will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
