Jose Martel

With deep love and profound sadness, we honor the life of José Martel, who was born on November 16, 1964, in El Paso, Texas, and peacefully passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 61.
He is welcomed into heaven by his father, Marcelo Martel, who receives him with open arms, and by his brothers Victor Martel and Tony Martel, who preceded him in death.
José is survived by his loving mother, Rosa Martel; his devoted wife of 35 years, Georgina Martel; and his beloved children: José Martel Jr., Joshua Evan Martel, and Stephen Thomas Martel. He is also survived by his siblings: Marcelo Martel Jr., Daniel Martel, Leticia Vasquez, Patty Gonzalez, Cecilia Villagomez, and Rose Alvarez.
He leaves behind four cherished grandchildren, the joy of his heart.
José lived his life with passion and joy. He was a proud Dallas Cowboys fan, always cheering on his team with enthusiasm. He loved riding his Harley, feeling the freedom of the open road, and he treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren, who were his greatest pride.
Above all, José was a loving husband, a caring father, a loyal brother, and a dedicated family man whose presence will forever be missed.
