Jose B. Narciso, 93 Jose B. Narciso of Taunton passed away peacefully on March 19, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Maria Lidia Narciso with whom he shared 70 + years of marriage. Jose leaves his children; Horacio (John) Narciso and his wife Donna of Bridgewater, Luis Narciso of Raynham, Lydia Harrington and her husband Russell of Virginia, Carlos Narciso and his wife Lauren of Freetown, Zelia Narciso of Taunton, Paul Narciso and his wife Julianne of East Bridgewater, Ana Robertson, and her husband Michael of Raynham. Jose was preceded in death by his son Jose Manuel Narciso of Taunton and survived by his wife Isabel Narciso of Taunton. He was the proud grandfather to twenty-two and the great-grandfather of twenty as well as the uncle of many nephews and nieces. He was preceeded in death by his siblings; Manuel Narciso, Maria de Luz Sousa, Maria Ines Camara, Maria Elda Pereira, Maria da Conceicao Silva and Joao Narciso. Jose was born in St. Miguel Azores, Portugal the son of the late Manuel Narciso and Izidora da Conceicao Narciso. He moved to Taunton in 1969, lived in Raynham for 30+ years before moving back to Taunton. He was previously employed at Henry Perkins Foundry in Bridgewater, MA. Jose's greatest love in life was his family and especially spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed raising all sorts of animals. Up until the last couple of years of his life he remained active tending to his prized garden and doing his own yard work. He will be missed and leaves all who loved him with lasting memories. Funeral from the O'Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Monday, March 25th at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St Anthony's Church in Taunton at 10 AM. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Interment St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
