Jose L. Paredes, affectionately known as Joe, was born on October 23, 1968, in San Antonio, TX. He lived his entire life in San Antonio, where he passed away on August 8, 2024. Joe was a dedicated family man, known for his unwavering commitment to helping others and his selfless nature.
He was passionate about fishing and had a knack for fixing things, which endeared him to many. Joe had a special fondness for seafood, often sharing meals with family and friends. His greatest joy came from spending time with his loved ones, especially his wife Josephine Perez, and his three children: daughters April (Ernesto) and Samantha (Daniel), and son Jesse (Misty). He was also a proud grandfather to Lawrence, Damian, Judas, Alexis, Jesse, Jonas, Daniel, and Bella.
Joe is proceeded in death by parents Maria & Manuel Paredes and brothers Samuel & Manuel Paredes.
Joe is survived by his beloved brothers, Ventura and Juan (Rita), and sisters San Juanita and Dora (Joe). He leaves behind 13 nieces and nephews, 23 great nieces and nephews, and 2 great-great nieces and nephews, all of whom will remember him for his kindness and generosity.
Throughout his life, Joe touched the hearts of many, always putting others before himself and helping anyone in need. His legacy of compassion and love will continue to inspire those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and the community he served.
