Francisca Olvera Tijerina

March 25, 1952 – October 2, 2025

It is with deep love and sadness that the family of Francisca Olvera Tijerina, 73, of San Antonio, Texas, announces her passing on October 2, 2025.

Born on March 25, 1952, in East Moline, Illinois, to Guadalupe and Vahalia Olvera, Francisca lived a beautiful life grounded in faith, love, and family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose joyful spirit and caring heart left a lasting mark on everyone she met.

Francisca is survived by her loving husband, Richard Tijerina; her children, Vanessa Knox, Audrey Castoreno (Jesse), and Sonny Knox (Crystal); and her cherished grandchildren, Brian, Jadence, Giovani, Ethan, Abraham, Aden, Kendall, Adeline, and Jaxon. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Alex Knox.

Francisca found joy in life's simple blessings - spending time in her yard, caring for her dogs, and staying active. She was deeply spiritual and drew strength from her faith in God, which guided her every step. Her laughter, energy, and kindness will be remembered always.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, compassion, and unwavering love for her family.

"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me." – Psalm 28:7

We love you forever, Mommy. Until we meet again.
