Jose Isidro Posada

Jose (JP) was born in Beeville, Texas on June 4th, 1948, to Jose de Jesus and Paula Posada. He married his life partner and soulmate Josie Loya Posada on May 27th, 1967 and together they spent 54 blessed years together. Jose was a devoted husband, loving father and wonderful grandfather. Growing up our father played the drums with Los Reales de Arturo Arguijo, where he played many nights at Las Flores and traveled to different states to perform. He later worked for many years at S&H groceries where he was able to make lots of the customers laugh and smile. Jose spent half his life working as a tech and wrecker driver for Dave Moore, Pride, Bennys and Alaniz and Perez. He enjoyed his job until he retired at the age of 65. He enjoyed conjunto music, driving around, playing with his grandchildren, working in his yard and taking vacations with his family! He will forever be missed and in our hearts but his memories and advice will forever be with us. We love you daddy and we are so blessed to have had you and mom as our parents.
Jose is reunited in heaven with his Wife Josie Loya Posada, Parents Jose De Jesus and Paula Posada; Grandsons, Aiden and Jacoby Posada; Grandchild, Baby B Balderas; Brothers Jaime, Frank and Jerry Posada; Sisters Mary Helen Flores and Rosalinda Posada, Sister In Law Janie Posada; Brother in law Isidro Flores and nephew, Eric Posada.
Left behind to cherish and honor his memories include: Sons, Joe (Jody) Posada, Jeffrey (Tina) Posada, Justin (Sabrina) Posada and daughter Joamy Dela Posada. Grandchildren Jonathan (Crystal) Posada, Joshua, Joseph, Beau, Andru (Mandy), Joeleus, Jace, Jaiden, and Briana Posada. Rick (Amy) Villarreal, Jimmy Padron and Randi (Jacob) Maldonado all of Beeville. Brothers Paul (Irene) Posada, John (Lydia) Posada, and Ruben (Velma) Posada; Sisters Jesusa (Arnulfo) Gomez, Janie (Jose) Molina, and Norma Posada, and sister in laws Jaqueline Posada and Josie C Posada all of Beeville. He is also survived by his 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Trevino Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 10:00 am at Saint James Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 11:15 am at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2 in Beeville, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Posada, Beau Posada, Joeleus Posada, Brian Gamboa, Joe Anthony Benavidez and Jacob Flores.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Arguijo, Manuel Farias, Joe Henry Alaniz, Luis Alaniz, Adam Trevino, and Ruben Montez.
