Jose was known for his energetic spirit, outgoing personality, and deep love for life. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and staying active, often playing football, basketball, and soccer. A passionate sports fan, Jose proudly supported the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Mavericks. In his free time, he enjoyed watching That '70s Show, anime, and discovering new foods. His sense of humor, lively personality, and love for adventure made him someone people naturally gravitated toward. To many, he was affectionately known as the "ninja assassin," always bringing laughter and energy to those around him.

Jose leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving parents, Jose Carmen Reyes Valdes, Sr. and Lucila Hortencia Arellano Cruz; his beloved children, Gabriel Reyes, Max Reyes, Adelina Reyes, and Isabella Reyes; his brother, Ivan Reyes; and his sisters, Rosaura Vasquez, Karol Reyes, Gabriella Reyes, and Alejandra Reyes. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ubertino Reyes and Maria de la Luz Valdez ; his maternal grandparents, Rosa Cruz and Lucio Arellano; his nephew, Jesse Vasquez III; and his uncle, Carlos Arellano.

Jose will be remembered for his vibrant personality, his love for his family, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him. Though his time here was far too short, the memories he created will continue to live on through those who loved him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
