Jose Sendejo III, 54, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, surrounded by loved ones in Kingsville.
Born on August 17, 1970, in Kingsville, Texas, to Jose "Chito" Sendejo Jr. and Elvira Sendejo, Jose was proud to be a Kineño at heart. His childhood on the King Ranch left him with cherished memories and a deep love for the area's history and traditions. A spirited individual, Jose was a member of an auto club for mini trucks, where he embraced his passion for trucks and the friendships that came with it. He also shared countless moments of laughter and love with family and friends, creating bonds that will endure in the hearts of those who knew him.
Jose was formerly employed by the City of Kingsville, where his dedication and hard work left a lasting impression.
He is survived by his beloved children: Jose "Jojo" Sendejo IV, Angelina Sendejo, and Loretta Elaine Sendejo, all of Kingsville. He also leaves behind his devoted sister, Carmen (Richard) Arredondo, of Kingsville, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will forever treasure his memory.
Family and friends are invited to honor Jose's life during visitation on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church, officiated by Father Alfredo Villarreal.
In accordance with Jose's wishes, a cremation will follow, and a Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
Jose's vibrant spirit, love for his family, and enduring sense of community will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who were fortunate to know him.
