Jose G. Sotelo, a beloved father and devoted laborer, passed away peacefully in Glendora on February 10, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on January 16, 1955, in the beautiful region of Jalisco, Mexico, Jose was a vibrant spirit whose happy and friendly personality touched the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Throughout his life, Jose dedicated himself to his work as a laborer, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to providing for his family and contributing to his community. He was a man of integrity and hard work, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.
As a father, Jose was deeply cherished by his daughters, Jacqueline and Jazmin Sotelo. His legacy will surely live on through the many cherished memories and the values he instilled in his daughters.
Jose’s warmth was evident to everyone around him, as he possessed a remarkable ability to brighten any room with his smile and infectious laughter. He had a genuine passion for life and a deep love for his family, which made every moment spent together a treasure.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jose’s life during visitation services on March 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at East Olympic Funeral Home, located at 4556 E Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90022. A Rosary will be held at the same location, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at 11:30 AM.
Though Jose may no longer walk amongst us, his spirit will remain in the hearts of those who loved him dearly. As we gather to remember this remarkable man, let us hold onto the joy he brought into our lives and the love he freely gave, ensuring that his memory lives on forever.
