Jose Arturo Ybanez or much better known as "Joe" or "Tuto" to many, passed away Saturday May 24th in San Antonio, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jose & Silvestra, brother Baby Jon, and granddaughter Alastair. Born into a military family, Joe traveled early in his life living in North Carolina, Hawaii and Kentucky before settling in San Antonio in 1966. In high school he picked up skills in auto mechanics and carpentry. Working as a carpenter after high school he met his ex wife and had 6 kids. Joe found his niche in apartment maintenance where he had a career spanning more than 20 years. Joe is survived by his 6 children, Jose Jr. (Maricela), Jon, Jessica (Luis Manuel), Jaymes, Jayson, Kristopher (Daniel) and 7 grandchildren.
A memorial service is being held for Joe's life on: June 6th, 2025, from 12pm-4pm
