Jose Zegarra

José Zegarra tuvo muchos títulos: hijo, hermano, esposo, padre, abuelo, tío y amigo. Vivió su vida a su manera. De joven, llegó de Perú a una nueva tierra llena de posibilidades e incógnitas. Vivió el sueño americano de la abundancia, enorgulleciéndose de proveer por su familia. Fue ferozmente independiente y se esforzó por hacer las cosas bien de la mejor manera posible. A lo largo de su vida, tuvo altibajos, pero siempre buscó la manera de superarlos. Será recordado como una persona terca, directa e independiente, pero también bondadoso, ruidoso, pero justo, que amaba a los animales, los autos y a su familia. Con la edad y la aparición de la demencia, pudimos ver un lado más amable y emotivo. Siempre será recordado por su apariencia impecable, su perfume aromático y su exuberante cabello canoso, perfectamente peinado. El hecho de que lo apodaron "El Guapo" en su residencia de ancianos resume su carácter hasta el final. José Zegarra será extrañado y recordado con cariño por todos los que lo amaron y cuidaron.

Jose Zegarra had many titles, son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He lived his life on his own terms. Coming from Peru as a young man to a new land full of possibilities and unknowns. He lived the American Dream of abundance, taking pride in providing for his family. He was fiercely independent and strove to do things right in the best way he could. Throughout his life, he had some ups and downs, but he always looked for ways to overcome them. He will be remembered as a stubborn, direct and independent individual, but also a kindhearted, loud but fair person who loved animals, cars and his family. With age and the onset of dementia, we were able to see a kinder, more emotional side. He will forever be remembered for his handsome appearance, his fragrant cologne, and his lush, perfectly styled gray hair. The fact that he was nicknamed "El Guapo" at his nursing home sums up his character to the very end. Jose Zegarra will be missed and fondly remembered by all who loved and cared for him.
