Joseph Raymond Anderson went on to his heavenly reward Friday, June 14th, 2024. He was born May 27th, 1999, in Lancaster, California to Richard Allen and Misty Jo Anderson. In 2019, Joseph moved to Missouri and met the love of his life, Kandis Ruth Forrest. On September 4, 2021, Joseph and Kandis were married.
Joseph, lovingly known as "Joe," loved to work with his hands and was skilled in many aspects. He had experience with welding, carpentry, and auto mechanics. In April 2022, he began working for Wisecrack Glass Repair as an auto glass technician. Joe loved his job and was committed to serving with excellence. Joe loved to play golf and ice hockey. He also was very passionate about all things coffee and latte art.
On March 9, 2024, Joe and Kandis were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Cambria Ruth Anderson. Joe was very involved as a father and extremely proud of his daughter. Both his wife and baby girl were his world. Everything Joe worked for in life was to support his home and family.
Joe was a faithful member of Battlefield Apostolic Church. He will be remembered as a worshipper, servant, and friend to strangers. He drove the bus for children's ministry, was involved in media, and often reached out to people in his personal time.
Joe left a legacy of positivity, loyalty, and whole-hearted living. The impact he left on people's lives is evident by the response to his passing. His presence will be greatly missed.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him."
Visitation to be held at Battlefield Apostolic Church, 554 W Walnut Lawn St, Springfield, Missouri at 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 20, 2024 with the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Maple Park Cemetery, 300 W Grand, Springfield, Missouri, at 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
Care has been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory.

Joey was frankly the kindest, most honest, and true man I have ever known. He had the sweetest spirit and disposition of any man I have ever encountered. He was a loved friend and sunday school teacher that my children and myself will never forget. He will truly be missed. My family was blessed to have known him and he will always hold a special place in our hearts. I pray angels surround his family and give them peace.
