Joseph Balogh

Joseph Balogh, 90, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022 in his home surrounded by family. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Sudi) Balogh with whom he shared over 66 years of loving marriage. Born on July 19, 1932 in Kápolnásnyék, Hungary he was a son of the late Joseph and Maria (Bakonyi) Balogh. Joseph worked as an auto mechanic for Banko Beverage for over 30 years until he retired. He was trained as an auto mechanic when he honorably served in the Hungarian Army. He was a founding, and active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Bethlehem. Joseph was an avid hunter and a member of the East Bath Rod & Gun Club. He was often found sitting at his bar with family and friends with a beer in his hand. He enjoyed soccer, traveling, and driving. Above all he cherished his time spent with his family.

Survivors: Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his wife Maria; daughter, Maria Liddick and husband James; grandchildren, Stephanie Liddick, Lauren Goodman and husband Matthew, and Daniel Liddick and wife Sarah; great grandchildren, Riley and Hunter Goodman, and Ewan Liddick.

Services A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3219 Santee Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18020. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
