Joseph R. Beaumont, 63, of Coraopolis, Findlay Township, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
Born on December 11, 1961, in Canonsburg, Joe was the son of Bernadette (Kulesa) Beaumont and the late William H. Beaumont.
For 40 years, Joe proudly served the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier and was beloved by all his customers. Joe served four years in the United States Army. He loved being at the beach; the ocean breeze transformed him into "Vacation Joe," happy and relaxed with a radiating smile. Joe retained a great knowledge of botany and lovingly tended to his house plants. He also enjoyed working alongside his sons in their lawn care business. A lifelong nature enthusiast, he had always dreamed of being a state park ranger. His love for music was profound, with an extensive collection and an uncanny ability to sing along to any song. If you named it, he likely had it on his iPod – the only technology he tolerated.
Joe recently retired from the Post Office and relished his departure. He looked forward to traveling with Lori to visit family and their beloved grandson in South Carolina. Joe believed being a grandfather was the best job in the world, and his grandchildren, Lucy and Rowan, adored their "Pappy."
Christmas was a magical time for Joe, embracing the season's spirit with childlike enthusiasm, much like his father. He poured his heart into creating unforgettable Christmas memories for his family – gaining more joy from giving much more than receiving. Known for his quiet acts of service, Joe lovingly maintained the family graves and was always a reliable source of support for his loved ones. A practical joker with a kind and generous heart, Joe was an exemplary husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, uncle, brother, and brother-in-law. All who knew him will sincerely miss and cherish him forever.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Lori Betlyn Beaumont; his children, Joseph; Nicholas (Rachel); and Erica Cadi (Tyler); and beloved grandchildren Lucy and Rowan; his mother, Bernadette; his brothers, Bill (Kim); Mike (Rita); Laurie (Steve); Patty; Chris; Dave; and Dan (Jackie); his nieces and nephews, William, Marissa, Michelle, Sarah, Lauren, Lindsay, Zac, Haley, Arianna, and Edward; and his great-nieces and nephews, Henry, Noah, Benjamin, Isaac, Matthew, Luke, and Beau.
He was preceded in death by his father, William H. Beaumont.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 3-6 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. and Crematory, 305 Main St., Imperial (724-693-2800). A Blessing Service will follow the visitation Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be held privately at Resurrection Cemetery.

I was so shocked, and am so sorry for everyone in the family, that Joe passed and so unexpectedly. I´m so glad we were able to have a long talk in Sep 2022 when I came up from VA for Haley´s wedding. He was so humble in sharing that some coworkers at the post office confided a lot in him, almost like he was a counselor, and it surprised him they felt that way about him. Joe did have a calm, kind way about him. God bless you all in the days ahead without him...
