Joseph Benjamin Berry Sr.

Born: July 15, 1945 the second child to the late Mr. and Mrs. Irvin and Ellice Berry Sr. in

Pensacola Florida. After several other siblings were born in Florida, the family moved to the

state of Alabama. It was here that he attended Carver High School, he accepted Christ at the

Mount Zion Community Church under the leadership of Pastor A.W. Young and his place of

employment was Cooks Publication, where he held several positions there. He was a man who

loved to do different things such as cooking, working on cars for his family or friends and

looking out for his neighbors. He was a wonderful Father, Best Grandfather, Great Brother and

Loyal Friend. HE WILL BE SORELY MISSED.

Demise: Joseph made his last transition on this earth September 17, 2025 the day when he

entered his eternal home. He was preceded in death by his Father Mr. Irvin Berry Sr., Mother

Mrs. Ellice Berry. Siblings: Irvin Berry Sr., Robert Earl Berry, John Berry, Donna Berry, Michael

Berry, Horace Berry and Grandson Joseph Fraizer.

Joseph leaves to cherish his memory: Son- Joseph Berry Jr., Daughters – Sabrina Berry Kines

(Deforest), Justina Berry. Brother- Roy Berry, Sister- Patricia Berry Smooth. Grandchildren:

Tommie Berry III, Roderick Berry (Ashley), JoNika Burch (Courtney), Joleicia Frazier, Jasmine

Sims, Mykeia Posey, Dakyia Sanders and Tina Berry. Great Grandchildren: Tommie Berry IV,

Ayanna Berry, Alaya Basco, Ayce Berry, Crimson Burch, Kourtney Burch, and Courtland Burch.

A special friend Georgianna and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
