Joseph A. Bochi

Joseph, 90, of Palisades Park, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023. He was born in Syria, moved to Lebanon where he met his wife, Josephine and together they had four children. Joseph left the war in Lebanon and was able to immigrate to the United States in 1982, with his family. He sacrificed so much to bring his family to America and to support his family with a career in Imports and Exports, as a Merchandiser, eventually able to own his own business. Joseph was a man of great faith.
Cherished husband of 64 years to Josephine (nee Digdan). Loving father of Christiane (Nabil) Cherbaka, Gina (Paul) Cherbaka, Antoine (Lori) Bochi, and Nicolas (Lucy) Bochi. Devoted grandfather of Natalie, Jad, Carl, Lea, Maya, Tia, Natalie, Michael, and Nicole. Beloved brother of Elias Bochi and Michel Bochi, predeceased by his siblings, Marie Egho, George Bochi, and Souad Heshmeh. Dear uncle to many.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral Service will be Monday, August 21, 2023 at 12pm, at Our Lady of Deliverance (St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cathedral Chapel), 415 Lackawanna Ave. Woodland Park, NJ, all to meet at church. Interment immediately following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
