Joseph Cosimo Borrillo of Chesterfield, Michigan, passed away September 10, 2025 at the age of 92 after declining health related to cancer. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and four children singing one of his favorite hymns, When we All Get to Heaven. Born at home on January 1, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of Italian immigrants, Michael and Grace Borrillo. He graduated from Wilbur Wright High School and also was a long time student of business at Wayne State University. While serving in the army, Joe was stationed for two years in Japan during the Korean war. He was a faithful employee of Detroit Edison for 47 years, and a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Rochester. He is survived by his beloved wife (of 63 years) Arleen Borrillo, his children David Borrillo (April), Grace Holdom (Philip), Beth Litke (Jeff), and Tammie Carollo (Peter), grandchildren Brandon Borrillo (Prerana), Christina Borrillo, Chandler Borrillo (Kayla), Nathan Holdom, Anthony Holdom (Gabriela), Luke Holdom, Evan Litke, Ben Litke, Ryan Litke, Patrick Carollo (Riley), and Sophia Carollo, great grandchildren Enzo 4 years, Kavi 2 years, Estella 2 years, and Tara 10 months.
